
Blogmeter is finally back with the Instagram Fashion Index. Through its new integrated Suite, Blogmeter analysed the Instagram performances of 54 fashion brands that attended the last Milano Fashion Week (according to the official calendar of the Italian National Chamber of Fashion), between 19th and 25th February 2019.
The first place goes to Gucci, that gained about 175k new fans and 2.7 million interactions over the six days of shows. Gucci surprised everyone with a spectacular show held on a 100 meters long walkway, illuminated by 120,000 light bulbs and covered with mirrors on walls, floors and ceilings.
Second place for Versace, that collected over 2.3 million interactions and 168k new fans on its Instagram profile. The most engaging post (about Milan Fashion Week) is the one that shows Kendal Jenner and Stella Maxwell on the catwalk, decorated with a giant golden safety pin with Versace symbol on it.
Third place for Fendi, which gained 1.7 million interactions and more than 154K new fans. For Fendi was the first fashion show without its creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, who died on February 19th, after 54 years of collaboration with the Italian maison.
Moschino stands fourth in the ranking, with 1.4 million interactions and a television quiz-themed show-event, while at the fifth place Armani, which collects almost 592k interactions.
A special mention for two more fashion brands: Prada, with a total-black collection, gained over 121k new followers; while Moncler, with the project Moncler Genius, collected over 408k interactions and enchanted his Instagram followers with the post of the collection by Pierpaolo Piccioli, that gets over 70k interactions.
Among the influencers who ruled this fashion week there is Georgina Rodriguez (girlfriend of the Juventus player, Cristiano Ronaldo) who charmed her followers with an outfit by Roberto Cavalli.
